SAP Material links in Microsoft Sharepoint

Microsoft Sharepoint is one of the leading document management system and portal solution for collaborations. One common requirement is to link all required data and information in one common system. This is possible with the CaRD SAP Material connector which uses standard PI Webservices and additional logic to display all details which you need to work with one platform. Optional is the maintenance possible.

Customer solution for object links and material selection

Based on a customer project we implemented and replaced existing document management solutions with Micrososft Sharepoint interfering with SAP.  The replaced software was also connected to SAP so that we enhanced the new solution with some new features which were not available in the replaced toolset. The new solution ensures the consistence between material master data and document info records which are maintainable in Microsoft Sharepoint. Our customer has now the chance to find materials and documents very easy based on linking the objects instead of storing one and the same information twice in each system.
