CaRD Ruledesigner
The CaRD Ruledesigner Add-on is a consulting solution from the PLM division of CaRD.
The intention and the main benefit of the rule designer ist to maintain dependency rules based on the configuration profile (high level configuration) without using and knowing the complex SAP syntax. This saves time and money because the maintanance can be managed very easily. The most important benefit is that you are able to react short-dated on customer changes and changed needs of the market.
The CaRD rule designer has been invented based on several ideas of our different customer projects of the automotive and plant engineering branches. It can used in environments that are using the iPPE as well as for classical BoMs and routings or combined with other tools like the IPC etc.
