Archive link to SAP R/3 with search mask in the SAPGUI ! After Level 2 LINK for SAP R/3, EASY and CaRD now also offer SAP-Retrieval. This gives EASY ARCHIVE another unique feature in the market for SAP archiving applications.
SAP-Retrieval closes the gap between SAP ArchiveLink users and "normal" EASY ARCHIVE users. With the new extension, all SAP users can search in any EASY archive from the R/3 application. And it is immaterial whether it concerns an archive with SAP documents or any other documents. All display and output is in the familiar Look and Feel of the SAPGUI, SAP R/3's graphic user interface.
Especially in conjunction with EASY-LINK for SAP R/3 Level II, all data can be uniformly retrieved and displayed not only from SAP R/3 but also from EASY ARCHIVE. Hit lists, document display and object display are displayed in the familiar SAP user interface. The operation is intuitive and requires no training. SAP-Retrieval can also be operated without EASY-LINK for SAP R/3 Level I thus allowing the simple archive integration in SAP R/3.
Technically speaking, SAP-Retrieval is a real client/server application, realized with the help of the EASY 32 bit APIs and SAP's Remote Function Call (RFC). SAP-Retrieval is easily scalable and simple to install. A provision is a PC with Windows NT workstation as the retrieval server.
